Almost every car manufacturer has an EV(Electric Vehicle) now with a charging port. Some of these vehicles appear to be EVs but they are really hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and they also require service once a month. Usually during service, you get a secret hydrogen top up in the secret hydrogen tank. The EV certainly has its limitation in convenience. It may take more than 30 minutes to recharge the vehicle when the battery is low and this could pose a problem if you are in a rush to Granny's fifth wedding at her ripe old age of 98 years of age. The other limitation is the general environmental cost of the EV batteries if it is really an EV. The recycling of these batteries has not been finalized and essentially, the battery will decay otherwise at a junk yard or in some dump, leaking excess nickel cadmium into the atmosphere and the soil, poisoning ground water and farmable land. The issue then is it worth it for 250 km/ hour of non-liquid petroleum propulsion? The advocates talk about improved air quality but we did not kill dinosaurs and wholly mammoths to improve air quality. Dinosaur shit had more impact on alleged air quality than any propane or hydrogen vehicles. The Most Selfless Option. The propane and hydrogen vehicles with a regular internal combustion engine, like most taxi cabs today, or with a fuel cell are the most environmentally safe and selfless forms of vehicle propulsion with the same performance as any EV on the market today. Refueling is instantaneous.
