Black and white are the native identities used in the main society once the native steps off the reserve, out of the environs of the indigenous culture into the World of the occupying, received culture. On the reserve, they are native. The systematic extermination of North American redundant labor due to automation who, nonetheless, remain economically useful as consumers that should be funded and preserved as such for a quiet economy. It's hard to see a BOSNIAN American as Bosnian or the other Eastern European refugees (turned American) in 20 years after WW2 after they and their families forget the language and eats twinkies but aren't they still useful as consumers; as BOSNIAN American humans? Maybe they are White aboriginals and some of them Black aboriginals. The logic of global capitalism, a formal received culture, is to ensure all citizens have an income support in the civilization; whether it's the USA or England, the EU or CHINA. Economic culture that tends to resist this principle would have to be a more indigenous culture with a more indigenous, informal mindset.
