Porsche® has the Taycan all Electric and Cayenne Hybrids, Panamera Hybrids or Maycan Hybrids. The hybrid is not unfamiliar to Porsche. It is rumoured that Porsche will be coming out finally with a Porsche 911™ Hybrid, using regenerative braking technology for the 2023 model year and that all Volkswagen products , including the Arteon and the Atlas will offer hybrid models primarily for 2023 that will appear in show rooms for September 2022. In fact, the idea of taking this energy efficient marketing approach is a proposal of Warren A. Lyon to recapture market share and he also proposed a more functional cabin for the 911 series as he noticed the car designer is capable of building quite functional cabins with little space when observing the KIA SOUL that seats 5 or the old Audi A3 or A1 that also seats five people. Part of the reason is to Keep pace with technology and also the competition from Asia. This new Porsche ™ offering come in the wake of Volkswagen reviewing it's Holdings to ensure that it does not maintain more than 50% of the market with products such as SEAT, Skoda, Porsche, Audi as well as Volkswagen of course.
