NEIGHBORHOOD AND SEIKO TEAM UP FOR LIMITED EDITION PROSPEX DIVER

Japanese streetwear brand Neighborhood has teased an upcoming release done in collaboration with Seiko: a limited edition Prosepx reference SBDY077. The watch will be released on January 15th and be limited to 1,000 examples available through Neighborhood’s online shop as well as other select Japanese retailers. The watch itself will be a must have for streetwear connoisseurs and happens to offer a lot to enjoy even if this is the first you’re hearing of the Neighborhood brand.

The black steel case gets a matte black shroud for a measurement of 44mm in diameter. The small lugs should keep this one well within wearable territory, however. The watch gets a black dial with thick applications of yellow lume for the hour markers and hands. A date aperture hides away at 4:30 with a color matched date wheel so as to not bring much attention to itself. Sitting below the depth rating at 6 o’clock sits the “NEIGHBORHOOD” labeling rendered in rich red, popping off the dial in dramatic fashion.

The watch receives a blue/grey bezel insert with a red accent at the pip, complementing the dial with a unique set of colors that set this apart from your average Prospex model from Seiko. A black silicone strap with an engraved keeper is provided to keep the blackout theme going. Turning the watch over you’ll find an engraved caseback with the individual number out of 1,000. Within the watch beats Seiko’s 4R35 caliber.

The SBDY077 is priced at ¥69,000 (~$665) and will be available on January 15th. If you’ve ever attempted to score hyped goods in the streetwear space you’ll know how tricky the prospect can be, so we’d recommend setting a notification for yourself and be ready to move quick when it releases. More on this from Neighborhood right here.

Certainly, anything we design demands and requires people with money for us to enjoy it; if it's a restaurant, an amusement park, a shopping centre or a town or city in general. Laissez Faire is not an economic policy but the policy of no policy in light of industrial mechanization of labor and the social problems it occasions when the families do not have enough money to buy their coal for heat, milk, bananas and vegetables. This should be so for the whole, entire continent.
