The Ford vehicle was dependent on the American market for sales as America comprises the majority of Ford's global market. But, when more than half of the North American population is under funded, then the sales of the Ford product suffer. Ford has moved some of its manufacturing to China. That is a great feat. But, then there is no doubt the American government could have turned on the funding/the income support for all of the American/Canadian citizens as is requisite from an economic point of view following the joblessness caused by automation so that monied "demand" will meet super robotic supply. The question is why has this not happened?? So, who is next? The good thing about other car manufacturers is that they are not dependent on America for any thing really but it doesn't hurt to be able to sell more vehicles in the home market of other manufacturers.
