This just in; a new update to the Interac system will aid certainty as some customers have attempted to transfer money to themselves with Auto deposit and the funds end up adrift but not deposited while the system confirmed the auto deposit when the sender and recipient is the same at two different banks and the email address is the same or different. If this happens, cancel the transfer and it will he redeposited at the sending bank. From now on, the system will ask you to confirm bank name if the sender and receiver is the same with the same email address.
