He asks the driver to step out of the vehicle and identify themselves. The dashboard video records the traffic stop. The police stop is videoed. The dashboard camera can operate by voice activation. You say " Robocop, take picture of subject." The picture is taken. There is also a video of the subject identifying himself. He or she will confirm their address and their licence number; on video. The officer does not have to take the card and verify anything. The database has a photo and the licence details. If it's a speeding ticket, the infraction is communicated to the subject. The officer can verify the driver ID in the DMV database on the STATE or FBI dashboard laptop. The officer confirms that the citizen can leave the scene if it is a positive ID confirmation or if it's negative, if it is negative, the citizen will be advised that he must appear at a police station within 1 hour to verify his driver"s licence. The vehicle is laser painted with the VIN number so YOU Cannot hide. And a full warrant for your arrest as potentially armed and dangerous is issued for your apprehension. You could be arrested for having improper ID or impersonation before you get to the police station by five officers with full body armour and full vehicle search. When the ID check is negative, it poses a risk to the public that should not be dealt with by one or two officers. A ticket is issued and mailed to the subject as related to the initial driving infraction through the police DMV state computer network. If he does not pay or set a court date, it remains a citation and is registered against the licence to be paid at the time licence renewal is required that is usually every 12 months.
