Shark farms and fisheries are now being initiated in calm ocean waters and in large industrial buildings off the coast of Iwo Jima and in Costa Rica for the food industry. They will produce sharks with fins just as large as the small sharks being caught in Costa Rica. These farms like salmon farms are more efficient than fishing in the wild and shark fishing in the wild is illegal in Asia and in Costa Rica.
